Volunteer/ Designer (May 2022-Aug 2022)

• Worked in Dr. Coleman Cocher's Gulf Coast Design Lab Studio with twelve other students

• Designed and constructed a new entrance sign and map frams from raw materials for non-profit Ecology Action's Circle Acres Park in Montopolis neighborhood in Austin, TX

• Designed and developed signage for East End Lagoon park in Galveston, TX through work with the City Government deparments and community stakeholders

• Created suitability analysis with ArcGIS and case study research for camping recreation

Texas General Land Office [GLO]: Grant Management

Intern (May 2021-Feb 2022)

• Established and coordinated weekly intern meetings for the Grant Management Department

• Participated and shadowed grant managers for City Infrastructure Grant kick-off meetings dicussing parameters of grants and processes

• Helped create infrastructure for the General Land Office competitive applications utilizing Microsoft Access and Planner for application organization

• Organized and reformatted over 50 summaries of grant projects currently active or recently closed out to help move department to new TIGRE software

Tampa Bay Energy Efficiency Alliance

Intern (Jun 2019 - Feb 2021)

• Worked with business leaders of Tampa Bay to create their integration into the Energy Star Score program aiding in City Sustainability Initiative 

• Organized raw energy and water meter data into Energy Star Portfolio for aprox 10 sites in St. Petersburg

• Worked with founders to create onboarding process for new interns and presentations of how TBEEA can help businesses

City of Alachua Planning Department

City Planning and Community Redevelopment Area Intern (Jun 2019 - Jan 2020)

• Updated city's Comprehensive Plan with the current relevant Florida State Statutes, incorporating changes from 2011 to 2018 with analysis from numerous other Florida city/county comprehensive plans

• Organized, managed and promoted Third Thursday events; contracted vendors, bands, and artists (~$2,500 event)

• Researched Land Development Regulation updates for the State of Florida from 2007-2019 for a

• variety of topics for current changes to LDC

• Shadowed wastewater utility, building code department, clerks, and planners on various projects, including City Emergency Deployment for Hurricane Dorian

• Mediated, and advocated for the Main Street Businesses that fell within the Community Redevelopment Area (downtown) for events, concerns, and planning updates

Graduate School of Architecture Representative Council

Co-Chair (Director) (Aug 2020 - Dec 2022)

• Re-established the GSARC organization with fellow graduate students

• Wrote and updated GSARC constitution and turnover procedures

• Established monthly student Town Halls and represented the Graduate Student Body and Corresponding Committees and in meetings with Dean of Students

• Worked with UTSOA administration to facilitate concerns from students and sought solutions for scholarships, facilities management, and academic requirements

UTSOA Community and Regional Planning RP Bootcamp Leader

Co-Director (Jun-Aug 2021)

• Led incoming cohort of 30+ graduate students into the Community and Regional Program pre-program to understand logistics and different opportunities for CRP

• Organized 2 panels, 4 lunches, 7+ sessions, and 3 tours with planning committee for weeklong series of events
